Singing Stars for United Way

The United Way, City of Birmingham and Library
Administration thank you for your generosity in the 2006
United Way Campaign. Your gift helped to give Birmingham
the designation of one of the most benevolent cities in the
country.
The 2007 Campaign kicked off with “Singing Stars for United Way” last
Wednesday. Your co-workers at the Paraprofessional Meeting were able to
hear and select two of four BPL Singing Stars to be a part of the BPL
Singing Stars for United Way video.
We know that you will look into your hearts and give so that our lives
and the lives of those in our communities may be made better by the many
agencies supported by United Way. One of the 2007 Committee members will
contact your branch or department to offer you the opportunity to give.
Your gift gives you a vote for our 2007 United Way Singing Star.

• Look at the United Way brochure for information.
• Mark your pledge slip with your charitable donation.
• Place the pledge slip in the envelope and seal it.
• Mark the outside with your vote for your 2007 BPL star.
• Give the envelope to your branch or department head.
