We have been harvesting already. Lettuce, chard & arugula survived the winter and are "pickable". The herbs made it through as well. Recently we planted spinach, which is growing well and some should be ready within the next week. We have also planted peas, radishes, tomatoes and peppers. They will take a bit longer to actually produce. If we continue to get adequate rain, we may have a 'really' good crop of veggies this year.
If you have not been to the Community Gardens, you should go. Better still get involved. It is very theraputic. Hope
