I like the first one. It's a funny contrast between the sedentary nature of reading and the muddy, wired, obnoxious world of monster trucks.
The second one needs some music to mask the clip-clop of some lady's high heel shoes. What is up with that?
That clip-clop is actually horse hoofs. Sorry if it was off-putting. :(
The sound is from a field recording of a carriage horse and jingling bells he carries. Background noise of winter scene with a horse drawn carriage and bells was intended.
But the clip-clop could be interpreted as people walking during holiday shopping :-)
