Jefferson County launched a great, new online service last week: Tax Map Viewer.
It's an interactive map that allows users to search for property and property tax information (inlcuding the names of property owners and Parcel ID numbers) with an interface similar to Google Maps.

Note: The site is in a beta testing phase, so availability and lag are an issue.
