All the glitzy, hi-tech, slick advertising in the world can't compare with a solid word-of-mouth campaign. The Power of Word-of-Mouth Marketing is a brief article by Peggy Barber and Linda Wallace that makes the case for the word-of-mouth marketing of libraries. Their three reasons to rely on this style of marketing - it's affordable, we have plenty of people for it, and (above all) it works - were enough to persuade me to make certain I talk up the good that libraries do. The article's a quick read - just two pages in the print margazine - so click on the link.
Then tell everyone about our libraries!
