In response to the Mayors latest salary changes for fire and police on AL.COM today:

I think if the mayor really wants save some money he needs to look in the library system because the library employees clearly abuse the system with their salaries and skipping away from work during the day and not using vacation time or sick time and the grades 16 and higher are way over paid . Mayor Bell needs to start at the Springville Road Library and then with the maintenace department because all the maintenance dept does is change light bulbs.

Sounds like an inside job to me, too. What casual patron understands the salary grading system or knows that someone is leaving early? The maintenance comment takes the cake, though.

I believe this is the work of a former employee of the library system - he worked at Springville Road library for a brief period and then worked at Central (Linn-Henley Building) for a really brief period.

Definitely agree with Brandon. I witnessed behavior by Randy exemplifying just what he was complainint about! One finger pointed at the Library, three pointed back at himself.
