The lack of trust among leaders in the Birmingham metro area is an issue that Scott Beason, state senator; Linda Allen, president of The Gate City Neighborhood Association; Jim Baggett, archivist with the Birmingham Public Library; and Chuck Hagler, chief of the Hueytown Police Department mention as a factor that keeps the area from moving forward.
