Director - Workforce Development Training
The Birmingham Urban League has an immediate opening for a Director of Workforce Development Training. The Director is responsible for ensuring agency goals and objectives are met through the efficient, effective and professional management of Urban League training programs and staff.
Desired qualifications include a Masters Degree in Management and Supervision, Business Administration, Human Resources or Education and at least five years of managerial experience in a nonprofit environment. Proven ability to work with varied stakeholder groups; excellent written and oral communication skills; computer literacy; competency in planning, reporting, organization and staff development. Experience in proposal writing and knowledge of workforce development initiatives and WIA legislation a plus. Valid Alabama Driver's License required.
