By now some of you may be asking "What is this blog thing?"
Blogs are a type of web site. Blog web sites contain brief informational entries most frequently arranged in reverse chronological order. Blogs often link to additional content, are almost always written in an informal manner, and include timestamps for each post. As post are added, the blog archives previously posted content and makes this content searchable.
A blog can take a number of forms such as: a collection of links to other Web sites, a series of book reviews, a summary of current news items on a topic, a record of an event, or a collection of bulletin board posts.
A Staff Blog is for internal communication. The BPL Staff blog is the ideal place for posting general announcements, disseminating library news, or sharing things that you would normally post on your staff bulletin board.
